About the Work

Orange Juice forms part of South of the River, a photographic series exploring working-class life, community and the changing character of south-east London. The project is deeply personal: the artist was born and raised in south-east London and still lives there, giving the work an intimate connection to the places, people and communities it documents.

Photographed inside a traditional greasy spoon caff in Plumstead, Orange Juice documents a longstanding fixture of south-east London's working-class culture. For generations, these independent establishments have offered affordable meals and welcoming spaces for workers, regulars and neighbours. Often family-run, they have become part of their neighbourhoods' social fabric, shaped by familiar faces, longstanding routines, and relationships built over time. The photograph preserves a glimpse of a tradition that remains closely tied to the area's working-class identity.

Limited Editions

Each print size is produced in a strictly limited, numbered edition, with the edition size varying according to the dimensions. Once an edition sells out, no further numbered prints will be produced in that size.

In addition to the numbered edition, one Artist Proof (AP) is produced in each size. Artist Proofs are separate from the numbered edition and are traditionally retained by the artist.

Print & Presentation

Limited-edition, fine-art inkjet print on archival Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315 gsm.

Each print is produced with a white border proportioned to the print size. The dimensions listed above refer to the overall paper size, including the border, with the image printed proportionally within these dimensions.

Each print is signed, titled and numbered by the artist on the front lower border and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Prints are supplied unframed and carefully packaged in a protective shipping tube.
