About the Work

Red Room forms part of South of the River, a photographic series exploring working-class life, community and the changing character of south-east London. The project is deeply personal: the artist was born and raised in south-east London and still lives there, giving the work an intimate connection to the places, people and communities it documents.

Photographed in 2020, Red Room documents an occupied flat within the last remaining block of the Morris Walk Estate in Woolwich, south-east London. By this point, the rest of the estate had been demolished, leaving just one block standing, with only a handful of flats still occupied. The photograph offers a glimpse into everyday domestic life within an estate nearing the end of its existence.

Limited Editions

Each size is produced as a strictly limited edition, with only a small number of prints available worldwide. Once an edition sells out, no further prints will be produced in that size.

Each edition also includes one Artist Proof (AP), retained separately from the numbered edition.

Print & Presentation

Limited-edition, fine-art inkjet print on archival Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315 gsm.

Each print is produced with a white border proportioned to the print size. The dimensions listed above refer to the overall paper size, including the border, with the image printed proportionally within these dimensions.

Each print is signed, titled and numbered by the artist on the front lower border and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Prints are supplied unframed and carefully packaged in a protective shipping tube.
